the harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few

Our workers proclaim the Gospel throughout Russia. They’re involved in children’s camps, refuge centres, prisons and hospitals. In faith we look to God alone to meet their needs.

I was a drug addict for 22 years, a criminal without any moral principles. I was born and grew up in Moscow. That's all I want to remember of my past life. I went to the recovery centre in 2010, and in 2011 was baptised in the central church of Nizhny Novgorod, where Vika and I met

Vika is from Nizhniy Novgorod. Her grandmother brought her to church at 10 years old, was baptised at 15 and has dedicated her life to serving the Creator since! In 2021 we moved to Perm where I now do the social ministry of adaptation and recovery centres at Transfiguration Church.

Our family has been doing the ministry of planting a new church in Cheryomnoe village since autumn 2009. God blessed us to be in His work among secondary schools of our village. We witness (in words, actions, our personal examples) about Jesus. We take an active part in the life of the local students, their parents and teachers through humanitarian aid, bible camps, bible conferences for teachers and Christmas projects.

We are the leaders of the ministry called ‘Yarche’. Through our ministry we want to teach children and teenagers (from families at risk and orphanages) bible truth and help them to accept God’s Fatherhood, and also to help them to adapt to the reality of this life and to become both physically and mentally healthy person. To achieve that the ministry ‘Yarche’ organises events at the orphanages, works with their graduates and potential social orphans.

Our family consists of three people: Aleksander, Tatiana and son Pavel. We live in Kargat. I have been living here since 2008, and with my family since 2011. We live at the prayer house as we don’t have our own house. I do the ministry in the church and I fulfill the duties of a pastor here at church. Our church is small and consists of five members. Two seekers come as well. We have a Sunday service, Bible study and prayer meetings.

We also go to the neighboring villages and have fellowship with those people who want to hear about God and the Gospel.

Pavel & Anzhela Kostin | Novosibirsk, Siberia

Our Church in Verkh-Tula village was founded in 1998. We have 12 members, over 10 children and teenagers and 4 seekers. We have shared the Gospel with many people while undertaking both charity and social work. Many people have been sent to the recovery centres, have been saved, and freed from their addictions. A lot of work was and is being done in youth ministry!

In 2021 the Lord moved my heart and my wife’s heart to move there to live and work for the Lord as the former pastor, brother Eleonor, couldn’t continue the ministry because of his age and health.

We moved to Biika, Gorniy Altai in 2020. We loved that nation immediately and decided to stay here and serve our God and local people. God is working in this area, and people are coming to the services. We do children’s ministry here and also do missionary work in the village nearby. Some local people are not happy that we are here and forbid their children to come to our church. Please pray for the villagers and us.
